Illustrating and Rendering Chains in Jewellery

About the course

Hey there! I'm Swasti, your mentor for this course. Chains are often an overlooked topic in jewelry design courses. Most courses only touch on the two most common types of chains—rolo and box—and focus solely on their illustration and rendering. But how can you truly understand the concept of linking in jewelry if you only learn to draw chains, without grasping how each element is connected or the limitations of different chain types?

This gap in knowledge can be risky for a jewelry designer, as it hinders understanding of one of the most critical aspects of jewelry: Linking. With this in mind, I carefully structured this course to teach you not just how to illustrate chains but also to explore 25 commercially used chain types. You'll learn how they're manufactured, their limitations, and how to create realistic and detailed illustrations of chains commonly used in jewelry design.

Through step-by-step demonstrations and hands-on practice, you'll gain techniques to accurately depict various chain types (as listed below). Whether you're a beginner or an experienced jewelry designer looking to refine your skills in illustrating and rendering chains, this course is designed for you. This course includes a worksheet to help you learn and post enrollment, you will also receive my WhatsApp number where you can clear all your course related doubts and receive feedback on your work.
